Hinchinbrook Community Support Centre staff, management and volunteers would like to wish the Hinchinbrook community a very happy Christmas and a safe and merry new year.
At this time of year we can be faced with many challenges, sometimes the joy and Christmas spirit doesn’t reach the lonelier members of our community. If there is someone you think might be unable to spend time with their family or friends this Christmas, grab some Christmas cheer and go for a visit. It could just be the gift of company they need. Other challenges we face living in tropical north Queensland is the threat and very real possibility of a cyclone and /or a flood. The best advice is BE PREPARED. Keep your eyes and ears open for warnings and take notice and please PLEASE stay out of flood waters and prepare for the worse possible scenario.
