Empowering our community through inclusive social support
Welcome to the
Right to Request Information
The community and stakeholders have the right to request access to any documents used by HCSC to support its policies, governance, and practices. This includes, but is not limited to, policies, procedures, guidelines, and other governance materials that inform the organisation’s operations and decision-making. Requests will be assessed in line with HCSC’s confidentiality, privacy, and information-sharing obligations to ensure the protection of sensitive or restricted information.
HCSC Data Breach Response Policy
At HCSC, we are committed to protecting the personal and sensitive information we hold. In the event of a data breach—or suspected eligible data breach—we follow a clear and timely response process to assess the situation, contain the breach, and reduce any potential harm. If a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Information Commissioner as required under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). Our response includes investigating the cause, taking steps to prevent future incidents, and supporting those affected. HCSC treats all data breaches seriously and is committed to transparency and accountability in managing privacy risks.
