This service aims to support vulnerable young people and strengthen their relationships with their families and support networks. The Youth Worker can assist 12-21 year olds with information, advice and referral to relevant agencies. We provide practical assistance with social and life skills, as well as support and counselling.
Ensures that appropriate support services are provided to meet the needs of individuals, families and community groups
We provide long term housing for low-income families and 1 and 2 bedroom units for individuals/couples over the age of 55. We are able to support people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to achieve self-reliance and independence. Conditions apply, call our dedicated housing staff for more information.

The Hinchinbrook Community Support Centre believes that all people who experience financial hardship should have access to emergency relief in order to maintain their basic needs for living. We recognise that each individual experiencing financial hardship may also require a measure of practical or emotional support. Emergency Relief Service is available by same day appointment only: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 1.00PM – 3.00PM
Our social enterprise provides comprehensive household maintenance works within the Hinchinbrook region. The focus of the enterprise includes Community Housing Providers, local welfare and community-based organisations and householders who are frail, disabled or economically disadvantaged.
